The Wiggins Family Daycare shares your most important goal— making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families. We focus on 4 areas of development:
1. Social–Emotional Development including self regulation
2. Language Development, which includes Early Literacy Development
3. Cognitive Development
4. Perceptual and Motor Development
Learning emerges through exposure to concepts, play, and activities. Play is the “work” of infants and toddlers. Developmentally appropriate activities and play, including a mix of small- and large-group activities, and our staff's directed or child-selected options.

We focus on responsive care and the routines and experiences that are so essential to the growth and development of children from birth to age 3. We have a rich environment; building trusting relationships; and individualizing the experiences throughout the day on the basis of children’s strengths, needs, and interests.

Reading aloud with young children is the best way to inspire a love for reading and create the kind of language-rich environments that support the development of language and literacy skills. We have a cozy area for books and stories, a small-muscle area, a sensory perception area, an active-movement area, a creative expression area, and we provide possibilities for them to encounter, explore, and investigate.

Throughout the program day, during routines, one-on-one interactions, and group learning times, caregivers provide playful and engaging experiences.

This age is all about expression when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. For much of the day, kids create, play, pretend, and express themselves their way! This kind of independent play builds critical thinking skills, self-reliance, and confidence for life

The Wiggins Family Daycare introduces language, math, science, and social skills in a way to encourage learning at your child’s own pace. Our caring staff set a daily rhythm for preschoolers that consists of group time, story time, outdoor play, meals and snacks, and naps, and most especially, lots of unstructured playtime.

The Wiggins Family Daycare provides learning experiences that strengthen children’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. We provide an engaging learning environment for your school age student.

Our staff gives them the structure to build essential skills for their future. Even when school is not in session, children need to be actively engaged in a stimulating learning environment. We offer a safe, structured environment that balances learning and fun.

Full-Time Care

The full-time rates are for any amount of time used during your child’s scheduled days. Priority is given to full-time students during enrollment.

Part-Time Care

The part-time rates are from 7:00-1:00 or 1:00-7:00 on your child’s scheduled days.

Additional Fees

The rate for daytime drop-ins is $17-21.00 an hour, per child, pro-rated to the next hour or $75-99.00 a day. (Up to, but not to exceed 10 hours) (Minimum 3 hours)

Annual Maintenance Fee

The Wiggins Family Daycare bills a $300 annual maintenance fee in order to offset the costs of maintaining our fantastic facility. We do this in lieu of excessive fundraising activities, and most parents appreciate the simplicity of this policy.

Late Fees

Payment is due in full by the 1st of each month and always in advance. If your payment is not received by the 5th, a late fee of $75 will be applied.

Please note. All tuition fees are due the first of each month or otherwise agreed. Quality child care is costly and we really do rely on your prompt payments. We appreciate your cooperation in paying fees on time
